 On 21 March 2012, the
Indonesian Center for Agriculture Socioeconomic and Policy Studies
(ICASEPS) conducted the seminar on agricultural and rural development.
Two papers were discussed in the seminar entitled: (1) Quantifying
Change in Production and Consumption of Food Products in 2030 and 2050
due to Climate Change in Indonesia (presenter : Dr. Budiman Hutabarat);
and (2) Potato Seed Policy Effectiveness (presenter: Dr. Bambang
Sayaka).

 On 6 March 2012, the
Indonesian Center for Agriculture and Policy Studies (ICASEPS) conducted
the seminar entitled "Trends and Prospective of Price and Supply of
Global Natural Rubber". The presenter was Dr. Djoko Said Damarjati, a
former general secretary of ANRPC (Association of Natural Rubber
Producing Countries). Dr. Damarjati shared his experiences from this

Seminar Operational Research Proposals FY 2012 |

 On 21 and 22 February
2012, the Indonesian Center for Agriculture Socioeconomic and Policy
Studies (ICASEPS) conducted the seminar of operational research
proposals of DIPA (Budget Implementation Entry List) and Ristek
(research and technology) of fiscal year 2012. The seminar was
officially opened by director of ICASEPS (Dr. Handewi P. Saliem).
Twenty-one research topics were discussed in this seminar.

Seminar The Dynamics of Pancasila In The Perspective of Multipolar Ideologies |

 During its subsistence,
Pancasila has always under the spotlight and a very sharp pressure from
both inside and outside the country. Based on its implementation, the
ideology of Pancasila is actually still far from the ideal vision. The
understanding of the values of Pancasila among political elite and the
government is still quite enough, so that it is not able to provide
exemplary in the application of Pancasila values in everyday life. In
other words, it is an indication of a crisis of ideology.
